Ground Transportation
Ford Taurus, newest model.
The forms of tranportation in the Intergalactic Empire of Trekylon vary from one tech to another. Wheeled automobiles are still favored by the majority of citizens, though thanks to advances in enviromental engineering, these have been made much more enviormentally safe.
Ford Motor Company, General Motors, and Toyota are the three biggest sellers in the empire, though they are certainly not the only wheeled automobiles sold and used. As the enviro-tech improves, it is expected that the 'Big Three' will manufacture ever more automobiles for the populace.

Hovercars The hovercar has become more popular as more are being built and made cheaper. Ford, GM, and Dodge have already built several models of hovercars. The main advantage in the hovercar over the wheeled auto is fairly obvious when first viewed, but there are other advantages, such as the reliance on a hydrogen-oxygen fuel source, creating water vapor as a waste product of the highly technical conversion process. This makes the hovercar enviro-friendly.

Hoverbike The hoverbike eventually replaced the motorcycle, though private collectors still maintain their motorbikes. Harley-Davidson, Kawasaki, and Honda made substantial profits from the introduction of the hoverbike into society. Hoverbikes come in many shapes and colors, most popular colors being red, blue, green and black.

Monorail The monorail replaced the railroad soon after the founding of Treksylvania. Used to carry cargo and passengers between cities, the monorail can ferry a passenger from Imperiopolis to Orleania in 4 hours (non-stop). Monorails rely on magnetic attraction and repulsion to make movement possible. Some monorail trams even have specialized dinning carts for long-distance travelers. One such monorail tram, the Qualla Express, goes further by offering a full 180 degree view of the mountains, streams, and forests of the Smoky Mountains.

Sea Travel
Sea travel in the Intergalactic Empire of Trekylon mostly consists of transport ships traveling across the Terran Ocean and the LaForge Sea. The LaForge Sea is also popular with tourists on cruise ships. The Gulf of Florid is for all intents and purposes a Trekylon lake, with only New Texahoma sharing the body of water. All waters within the Imperial boundary are viewed to be Imperial waters, leaving very little to be considered 'international'.
Personal luxury craft Personal luxury craft, such as the catamaran shown, can be seen along the Terran and Gulf coasts of Trekylon, and at all shores of the LaForge Islands. These craft are often seen fishing, sailing, or just going for a nice Sunday cruise. People will pay up to 20,000 bricks of GPL for a luxurious watercraft. Sometimes, these watercraft can be used for illegal purposes such as smuggling, piracy, or terrorism.

Cruise Ships Cruise ships can carry as many as 2,000 passengers on voyages into the LaForge Sea on excursions to the major island districts. Featuring the best live entertainment, 5-star dining, 5-star accomodations, and activities for the kids, teens, and adults, the cruise ships are identified as non-military watercraft and are protected as such under UN, ICN, ADA, and Dual Monarchy laws. To date, only one cruise ship was attacked in a time of war, when a Yee sub mistook the Carnival cruise ship Fiesta for a warship and fired torpedoes. The cruise ship was damaged, but able to return to home-port

Tankers Tankers are the essential part of the transportation network for Trekylon. Enabling, tankers supply the oil and natural gas needs of Trekylon and its major trade partners. To date, only one tanker has been lost, due to a storm. The SS Estefan was turned over and sunk by a tropical storm, taking 210 lives, and 500,000 barrels of oil down with it. The oil has since been recovered, though all efforts to locate and retrieve the bodies has so far proven ineffective.

Cargo ship Cargo ships carry all the necessary goods and products throughout the globe. The River Dax is the place where the cargo ships are most often found, though they also ply the Gulf and the LaForge Sea. Some cargo ships require a tugboat to 'pull' them down rivers, and a few cargo ships even carry a pair of AA guns for defense. For the most part, however, cargo ships are the most vulnerable out in open ocean.

Air Travel
Air and aerospace travel makes up the remaining bulk of all transit across the empire, and to the Luneria colonies, as well as to ORFs (Orbital Research Facilities) and the orbiting base-star Destroyer. As technology improves, the aircraft become more aerodynamic and fast. There are four major airlines which service all points in the empire as well as Luneria: Delta, United, Virgin-Atlantic, and Imperial Airlines. Imperial Airlines planes can be easily identified by the image of the ISS Enterprise on both sides. (which are the only markings on these planes). Covered here are two of the 'Big Four' airlines in the empire, the Imperial Airlines, and Virgin-Atlantic.
Imperial Airlines Imperial Airlines originally was a joint venture of JetBlue, American Airlines, and Pan-Am. Pan-Am had been reconstituted in the years following the Great Nuclear Holocaust as the cheapest form of civilian air travel in the post-WWIII world. As Treksylvania gave way to Holy Trek, the airlines received a major boost from the Imperial Parliament, which provided 80% of funding even as AA was gradually absorbed by the Imperial government. The end result was the creation of an airline which has free run of Imperial airspace, as well as Inuyashia, New Texahoma and the Imperial Federation.

Virgin-Atlantic Airlines Not long after establishing its name as the premier arlines for the Trans-Atlantic area, Virgin-Atlantic went one step further by building the first x-plane which can travel to space stations and lunar colonies. Nicknamed the Voyager, the x-plane was so affordable and so quick to build, two other models were constructed, one which would carry up to 50 passengers, and one which would be used to carry products and cargo to the base-star and Luneria colonies.
