Valiant-class starship
The Valiant-class starship is the prototype for the Defiant-class ships. The Valiant-class ships were a testbed for the technology later employed on Defiant-class, Nova-class, and Prometheus-class ships. Primarily a combat starship, the Valiant-class ships are overpowered for their class, and some adjustments and modifications have been made recently to counter the stresses on the hull caused by the equally overpowered engines. Currently, there are 2,000 Valiant-class ships in service, used mostly as training vessels for cadets in the Imperial Academy.

Armageddon-class starship
The Armageddon-class starship is a variant of the Nebula-class design, with greater emphasis on weapons and shielding. The ship appears to be bristling with phaser turrets and arrays. Appropriately named for the religious nickname for World War III, the Armageddon-class can bring literal armageddon to any enemy fleet or outpost it encounters. Currently there are 135,000 ships of this class, with plans to expand those numbers as a result of the empire's logistical and military support for Laptev in the Barlat-Laptev War.
Vessel Type: Destroyer Length: 442.23 m long 318.14 m wide 44.01 m high Crew Complement: 550 crew/enlisted Armaments: Type X phasers Quantum torpedoes Ablative armor Warp Speed (Max.): Warp 9.6 |
Galaxy-class starship
The Galaxy-class starship is the primary eploration/diplomatic/defense starship of the Imperial Starfleet. Given a major overhaul in the 'Atlantis Age', the Galaxy-class ships are now capable of high-warp, and transwarp speeds. The Galaxy-class ships can separate in times of emergency, allowing the saucer to take the bulk of the ship's population to safety while the star-drive section functions as a small warship. Currently there are 450,000 Galaxy-class ships, with plans to expand the numbers as security concerns are the primary factor.
Vessel Type: Explorer Length: 642.51 m long 463.73 m wide 195.26 m high Crew Complement: 1014 crew/enlisted Armaments: Type X phasers Photon torpedoes Ablative armor Warp Speed (Max.): Warp 9.9 |
Montgomery-class starship
The Montgomery-class starship is a blend of Ambassador, Excelsior, and Galaxy class designs. A fast ship, the Montgomery-class is moderately armored, heavily armed, and extremely manueverable. This class of ship can be retro-fitted with a subspace transmitter for special surveillance missions. Currently, there are 20,000 ships of this class in service, with additional ships already being constructed in the few shipyards not destroyed during the Barlat Assault (due to their classified locations).
Vessel Type: battleship Length: 530 m long 330 m wide 125 m high Crew Complement: 150 crew/550 enlisted Armaments: Type IX phasers Photon torpedoes Ablative armor Warp Speed (Max.): Warp 9.2 |
Panther-class starship
The Panther-class starship, named for the mascot of the high school where the future emperor, Michael I, had graduated from, is a medium-sized battleship constructed at the rebuilt Pantheran Yards. Utilizing the first crew mix of Human and Pantheran, the Panther-class has an interchangeable dorsal pod which can be equipped for long-range sensor surveillance, additional photon torpedo firepower, and a launcher for missiles. Variant of the decommissioned Ambassador-class ships. Currently there are 75,000 ships of this class in service with plans for more construction on additional ships.
Vessel Type: Battleship Length: 526 m long 320 m wide 125 m high Crew Complement: 150 crew/550 enlisted Armaments: Type IX phasers Quantum torpedoes Ablative armor Warp Speed (Max.) Warp 9.2 |
Smiths Station-class starship
The Smiths Station-class starship is the first of a new design of dreadnaught built by the empire's shipyards. Incorporating the design parameters of previous dreadnaughts, the Smiths Station-class has advanced weapons, multi-vector and multi-targeting capability, and transwarp propulsion. Currently there are 100,000 ships of this class with plans to expand their numbers due to the conflict with the Concordiat.

The Alabama-class starship is a dreadnaught using a somewhat different orientation based on the Sovereign-class ship. As with the Smiths Station-class and Georgia-class ships, the Alabama-class uses transwarp drive and jump-point FTL. The Alabama-class is the premier class of dreadnaught in the Imperial Starfleet. Currently, there are 35,000 ships in service, with plans to construct more, to serve as a reserve force.
Vessel Type: Dreadnaught Length: 685 m long 250 m wide 90 m high Crew Complement: 150 crew/725 enlisted Armaments: Type XII phasers Photon torpedoes Quantum torpedoes Ablative armor high-capacity shields Warp Speed (Max.): Warp 9.9 |
Confederate-class starship
The Confederate-class is a Sovereign-type tactical assault ship designed in conjunction with the Sovereign-class ships. Equipped with a phasing cloak which masks even radiation and energy signatures from sensors, the Confederate-class ships can slip into enemy fleet positions at random. At present, no Confederate-class ships are deployed on the front-lines, though there are plans which could finally put them into action. Currently there are 30,000 ships of the Confederate-class, with no immediate plans to expand their numbers, though drydock facilities are ever-ready to resume construction should they lose a significant number of ships.
