Missiles and Bombs
It is the stated Imperial policy that nuclear weapons ARE NOT to be used except in cases where all other options have been exhausted, an ally is in danger of being overrun, or the empire itself is in danger of falling. The Galactic Empire of Holy Trek WILL NOT use nuclear weapons as an offensive measure, in accordance with the United Nations regulations. The fact that there are nations with nuclear weapons, and other WMDs make it imperative, however, that Holy Trek have an adequate means of self-defense.
Bombs
Flying bombs Based on the V1 rocket bombs used by Nazi Germany during World War II, these next generation of flying bombs are computer guided, and can be fired from up to 500 miles away from its target. Can be retro-fitted with a biological or nuclear warhead if the situation calls for it, though to date, no flying bomb has been so equipped.

Mark I bombs The Mark I bombs are dropped by large bombers, and airships. Range from 500 lbs. to the 'Big Bertha' 2,000 lbs. bombs. Mark I bombs can also contain chemical or biological agents, and can do anything from spread napalm to shatter heavily fortified buildings.
Mark II bombs The Mark II bombs are more varied in size than the Mark I's and can be dropped from fighters as well as bombers and airships. At least two of these, the number 3 and number 4 bombs, can be retrofitted for nuclear attack. Smallest bombs are the size of the average man, and the largest are the size of a schoolbus.
Bunker-buster bombs These bombs can destroy cave hideouts, or eliminate heavily fortified enemy silos. Can be dropped from fighter-bombers, bombers, or airships. Weight is anywhere from 50 lbs. to 1,000 lbs. Larger sizes capable of retrofit with nuclear warheads for maximum damage.

Nuclear BombsAtomic bombs A staple of nation-state governments since 1945, atomic bombs were thought used up in the War to End Everything (World War III). But a few national survivors maintained the knowledge needed to construct new atomic bombs. Commonly lumped together with the hydrogen bombs as 'nukes'. Smallest bombs are of the 'Trinity' and 'Little Boy' yields while the largest are of the 'Tsar Bomba' yield.
Hydrogen bombs More powerful than the atomic bombs, hydrogen or thermonuclear bombs can devastate an area twice the size of that devastated by an atom bomb. Yields are of the 'Ivy Mike', 'Castle-Bravo', and 'Tsar Bomba' size. Hydrogen bombs can be airdropped from bombers, fighters, or airships. As is the case with an atom bomb, an airburst from a hydrogen bomb can cause more damage than a groundburst.
Nuclear artillery shells Next stage in nuclear evolution, the nuclear shells can be fired from an Archer or other artillery gun in combat. Considered a 'tactical' weapon, effects and damage are confined to the battlefield. This form of nuclear weapon was used only once, in the Rocca War, and with devastating effect.
Nuclear underwater mines The production of the nuclear underwater mine was a necessity, given the volatility of the international community. Deployed only in areas where large fleets are expected to enter, or harbor, these mines can either detonate on contact with an enemy ship's hull, or be remote or computer activated. Though they have never been deployed, it is very likely that enemy ships encountering these mines will be destroyed right down to the last PT boat.

Missiles
Air-to-air missilesLance missiles Used against fighters and bombers
Trident missiles Used against enemy aircraft.
Patton missiles Used against enemy aircraft.
Peregrine missiles Used against enemy aircraft. Can be adjusted for orbital attack as well.
Pike missiles Used against enemy aircraft. Can be adjusted for orbital attack as well. Retrofitted with a nuclear warhead, can create an electro-magnetic pulse (EMP), rendering enemy computer systems inert

Ground missiles
Ground SAM missiles These ground-based SAM launchers can launch as few as 4 or as many as 20 SAM missiles to deter aerial attack. Strategically located near vital buildings such as the Imperial Palace, Government Building, and major military facilities throughout Holy Trek.
Mobile SAM missiles The mobile SAMs are used on the battlefield, when ground forces need added protection from air attacks. These mobile launchers store 5 missiles within compartments inside the vehicles.
Surface-to-surface missiles The Hellcat surface-to-surface missile can be launched from a hand-held launcher, a tank retrofitted with a launcher system, a katyusha truck or a mobile launcher built onto a half-track. Used on the battlefield to disorient an enemy, and make it easy for a successful counterattack.
Another missile used in combat is the Cruise missile, a holdover from the old United States. The cruise missiles can be refitted with a chemical or biological agent, or a nuclear warhead, and can travel across whole districts (or whatever enemy nations designate their region divisions), before striking its target. Cruise missiles can be launched from land, air, and sea. |
Nuclear Missiles
Tactical nuclear missile The Ares SR20 tactical nuclear missile (silo-based one shown) is a battlefield nuclear missile. The mobile variants can be launched from a ship or a tank launcher. Devastation confined to immediate blast area, though radiation can spread depending on local winds to inhabited areas. NOT TO BE USED UNLESS AS A LAST OPTION WEAPON
Silo-based ICBMs The silo-based Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) is a nuclear missile controlled by a 'Silo General' . A special two-person confirm launch gives the Silo General and the General of the Army Group joint command over launch procedures. NO LAUNCH IS COMMITTED WITHOUT THE DUAL AUTHORITY OF THE WAR MINISTER AND THE EMPEROR. Once authorization is given, there is a 5 second countdown which gives the Silo General the option to abort, then the standard 10 second countdown to launch is made. ICBMS ARE NOT TO BE USED EXCEPT AS A WEAPON OF LAST OPTION.
Mobile ICBMs Similar to the process of silo-based ICBM launching, a mobile ICBM launcher is controlled by two people. The difference is that there is no Silo General but instead a Missile Commander who works with the General of the Army Group. As in the silo launch, no launch from a mobile unit is committed without the authority of the War Minister and the emperor. Mobile launchers enjoy the advantage of be able to position themselves at random locations, making it harder for enemy HKs to locate and destroy them. MOBILE LAUNCHES ARE NOT COMMITTED UNLESS AS A LAST OPTION WEAPON.
MIRVs (Multiple Intercontinental Reentry Vehicles) The multiple intercontinental reentry vehicles (MIRVs) are ICBMs that carry multiple warheads inside one large cone. When launched, they can travel to a certain altitude above their target before jettisoning the main cone, which then jettisons each warhead to various target sites. Can cause greater damage and radation than a single warhead ICBM due to the multiple nuclear detonations resulting from impacts from the warheads. MIRVs ARE NOT TO BE USED EXCEPT AS A WEAPON OF LAST RESORT
SLBMs (Submarine launched ballistic missiles) This form of ICBM is launched from submarines that can be located off the coast of an enemy nation. Missiles can utilize either the single warhead or the multiple warhead configuration. SLBMS ARE NOT TO BE USED EXCEPT AS A WEAPON OF LAST RESORT.

Ground-based Trek Tech
These are the first of a series of technological breakthroughs known as 'Trek Tech' from their use in Star Trek. Theoretically possible by modern standards, Holy Trek employed their development and use. These weapons have proven effective in destroying attempted landing operations by the Yee Alliance during the Second Yee War
Photon Cannons First of the so-called 'Trek tech', the photon cannons are cloaked until called upon to defend from an orbital attack. Was instrumental in defeating an attempted Ingen landing in Holy Trek territory. Can be built on citadels, in mound structures, or in the sides of mountains.
Phaser Turrets Next in the line of the new Trek Tech weapons, phaser turrets are mounted on citadels, placed in arrays around civilian and military centers, or placed on sides of mountains.
